As political interests battle in Congress and the courts, our public forests face declining health and unprecedented fire danger. The social and economic impacts damage rural communities and extend beyond our state borders as well. "Rethinking the Forests" ventures outside the usual arguments to find new voices with fresh perspectives on the present gridlock.
